The Namibia National Farmers’ Union (NNFU) is a national federation of regional farmer’s unions (RFUs). It was established in June 1992 to serve as a mouthpiece for all Namibian communal and emerging commercial farmers.

IMPACT:

✅ 11 strategic stakeholder meetings with stakeholders in the crop sub-sector

✅ 104 farmers (52 Males and 52 Female participated in 2-day information sharing meeting with key stakeholders in the agricultural sector)

✅ 564 (334 Males and 230 females) farmers trained on general crop production in 6 regions (Otjozondjupa, Erongo, Kunene, Omaheke, Hardap and Karas)

✅ 120 farmers trained on Conservation Agriculture

✅ 45 Demonstrations plots established under CA

✅ 105 ha inputs supplied to farmers demonstrating CA

✅ 120 farmers trained in horticulture in Otjozondjupa region - Introduction to basics in horticultural production
