The Namibia National Farmers’ Union (NNFU) is a national federation of regional farmer’s unions (RFUs). It was established in June 1992 to serve as a mouthpiece for all Namibian communal and emerging commercial farmers.

Farmers Information Day

The Namibia National Farmers Union (NNFU), in collaboration with the SASSCAL – RIBS Project and the University of Namibia, School of Agriculture and Fisheries Sciences, invites all farmers, researchers, government officials, and stakeholders to attend a Farmers Information Day. This event will focus on knowledge sharing, practical demonstrations, and interactive discussions aimed at addressing key challenges and opportunities in rangeland management, bush control, and livestock production.

 Focus Areas

  • Improving rangeland productivity through bush control
  • Promoting sustainable bush utilization as livestock feed
  • Fodder production, conservation, and utilization
  • Dairy goat management
